This project-based course consists of computer simulations and data analysis in biological physics that are designed to introduce the student to concepts, methods, and biological model systems in biophysics. The list of available projects includes, but is not limited to, diffusion, diffusion-limited aggregation, self-organized criticality, and genetic drift. The class will be fully remote and will be synchronous once / week. Course grade is based primarily on the project reports and the project presentations. Prerequisite: Phys 191-192, Phys 197-198, or permission of the instructor.
