This is a half-semester writing-intensive course designed to provide the basics of scientific grant writing. Lectures will cover the content and construction of NIH-style grants, and students will gain experience with grant writing and grant review. This course is designed to help first year neuroscience students prepare for qualifying exams that take place at the end of their first year. Class will meet in CSRB-NTA 101 on February 7th; FLTC 204 on March 27th and Becker Library, 201 on April 3rd.
