This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the function, regulation, and integration of the major organ systems of the body. Course content includes neural and hormonal homeostatic mechanisms, and study of the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, musculoskeletal, nervous, endocrine, immune and reproductive organ systems. Mechanisms of exercise physiology are integrated throughout the course. Prerequisites: It is highly recommended, but not required, that students have completed Bio 3058. Students must have completed Biology 2960 and 2970.
