Andreia Dexheimer

Andreia is a Research Development Associate at the College of Arts and Sciences, supporting the Biology Department. In this role, she leads research proposal development and works collaboratively with faculty to increase the size and impact of WashU’s biology research portfolio. Andreia has a doctorate in Biology from the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where she studied animal learning, more specifically working with tropical bees in Florida and in collaboration with The Saint Louis Zoo. She also worked as a postdoctoral fellow and research faculty at the STEM Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, leading and coordinating STEM Education research projects across the St. Louis Metro region.
